GROUNDS Iowa law allows a “No-Fault” divorce due to “A breakdown of the marriage relationship to the extent that the legitimate objects of matrimony have been destroyed, and there remains no reasonable likelihood that the marriage can be preserved.” This is the only ground for divorce allowed in Iowa, and applies to all situations for which someone might seek a divorce. |
