Tennessee law permits divorces based upon: No-fault: (1) irreconcilable differences, or (2) living separate and apart without cohabitation for 2 years, and there are no minor children. Fault-based: (1) adultery; (2) impotence; (3)conviction of a felony and imprisonment; (4) willful desertion for 1 year; (5) endangering the life of the spouse; (6) wife is pregnant by another without husband’s knowledge; (7) bigamy; (8) refusing to move to TN with a spouse for 2 years.
